Privacy & terms: the short version is the whole version

Our privacy policy is short because we collect almost nothing. Brevity here is a feature, not an oversight.

Privacy

What we collect. This is a static publication: no accounts, no comments, no newsletter capture on launch. We run one analytics property (Google Analytics 4) to count visits and see which reviews get read; it involves cookies and IP-derived rough geography, and its data lives with Google under their processing terms. If you block analytics, the site works identically and we lose nothing we were entitled to.

What we never do. No selling of data, no ad networks, no tracking pixels from third parties, no dark-pattern consent theatre. Email us and your address is used to reply to you, then left alone.

Affiliate links

Links routed through our /go/ directory are affiliate redirects: the vendor may pay a commission if you buy, at no change to your price. Which vendors, and on what terms, is published in full on the funding page — that page is part of these terms.

Terms of use

What the scores are. Editorial opinion built from documented verification, dated on each page. They are not guarantees that a tool will suit your room, hardware or employer’s IT policy — run the free tiers; that is what our reviews tell you to do in bold type.

Accuracy. Vendors change prices without asking us. Every fact carries its verification date, and the corrections desk ([email protected]) exists precisely because July’s truth can be September’s error.

Reuse. Quote us with attribution and a link. Republishing whole reviews, or the rubric table with the numbers filed off, is not quoting.
